Healing Hearts of South Jersey: A Family Legacy

In 2008, our founders’ lives changed forever. Both of their children were born with a complex congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot. In the face of uncertainty and fear, they found hope through connection — and Team Healing Hearts of South Jersey was born.

What started as a small walk with homemade shirts has grown into a 17-year legacy of advocacy and support. Each spring, the team walks the Southern New Jersey Heart Walk to raise awareness, fund life-saving research, and stand in solidarity with families beginning their CHD journey.

Thanks to the support of an incredible community, they’ve raised over $48,000, been honored as the #1 Community Team in 2017 and 2018 — and, most importantly, have seen their children thrive into adulthood. Grace Construction proudly walks alongside them, year after year.
